JESSICA’S SWEET SIXTEEN :)

We can’t believe that OUR Jessica already turned 16 years old… Man where did time go? Sara and I were here looking at OUR Baby and when we got alone, Sara looked at me and said: “Mommy, it just hit me, that two years from now Jessica will be a Senior in High School and I will be graduating college… I feel in absolute awe that our Jessica is growing so fast on me”. And as my Blond daughter ( My nickname to my Sara, since she took completely after my mother’s side of the family and HAS without any doubt the green eyes and blond hair side of my mom, even that she hides it by always dyeing her hair dark… but I always call her my blond daughter)… And as I was listening to her, my eyes filled with tears and I wondered just how fast time has flew… Sara was in awe that her sister turned 16 and I am in awe that she will be turning 20 years November 2nd…

So October 15th, I worked half day and then met with Sara at Jessica’s school, we told her that we were going to bake a cake and would meet her up at home, since she was going to help her best friend and a person that is a part of our family, our “Kelsey Bear” to do some homework, but it was all part of a great scheme, because Kaitlin called asking her to go talk to her , she needed a friend, then Kelsey went to pick her up and Heather and Kelsey and Kaitlin kept her as busy as they could possibly keep… In the mean time Sara and I were decorating a Restaurant Room that we had a friend of mine offering us to use ( he owns it), so at 6 pm, Kelsey told Jessica that they needed to go get a pizza and bring to our home… when she walked in the lights were off and the tables had everything in pink and all her closest friends were there with us, she walked in and we heard her asking what was wrong with the lights, and we all shouted “SURPRISE”…. She had the shock of a lifetime, she covered her mouth, then her face and blushed so dang much…lol…it was a night to remember…. She opened half of her presents over there and the rest here at home…

She needed clothes, since she is growing leaps and leaps…. So she got what she wanted the most, gift cards to buy her own style of clothes and our family from Portugal called her all day trying to get a hold of her and so did Darin. She had a funny and happy sweet sixteen… Enjoy some pictures that everyone took turns taking… just so we could get all of her friends… Thank you Jessica for 16 years ago arriving to our home and make us so happy with your amazing, incredible, giving, thoughtful, generous, loving personality and bring such joyfulness, jubilation and delight to our family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA, YOU ARE SO LOVED BABY GIRL :)
